This report is not a scientific evaluation of the Conference. It is based on the opinions of 73 participants which were collected through questionnaires, as well as on comments and suggestions of the Greek team responsible for hosting the Conference1.
A. Data of the 9th International Conference
There were a total of 355 participants: 190 from Greece, 85 from other European countries, 65 from North America and 15 from other countries. It is noted that at the 8th International Conference which was held at the Bermudas in November, 2009 the participants were 150. In total 15 Europeans attended then, two of them were Greek.
The activities of the 9th International Transformative Learning Conference were:
- A keynote lecture
- One panel with North American and one with European scholars whose
subject was “The perspectives of transformative learning theory”
